According to him, “My Level” by Shatta Wale has all the element a Highlife song quite apart from the fact his lyrics which were done in English Language.

Shatta Wale’s “My Level” got nominated into Best Highlife Music of the Year at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) which is yet to be held in the month of May.

Just after the nomination list was released, some entertainment analysts criticized Charter House for nominating the song in the Highlife category.

They have argued that the music has nothing to do with highlife yet it shouldn’t have gotten into that category.
