Wiyaala Set To Lecture At Cambridge University’s Africa Togetherness Conference (+ Screenshots)

Pride of the North, Wiyaala is set to join a panel at Cambridge University to discuss Music and Film on Saturday, the 1st June 2019.

The discussion will be a part of the sixth annual Africa Together Conference at Cambridge University. Wiyaala will join Peter Ogbu Okwoche of the BBC and Yaba Badoe, a novelist for the panel discussion. The topic for the panel discussion is dubbed: “Music, Film, Arts and Culture: Retelling African Stories.

Noella Wiyaala was born on December 22, 1986 and she is Ghanaian Afro pop singer-songwriter who sings in her native language Sissala and Waale dialects and English, often combining all three languages within her songs.

Although she’s one of Ghana’s biggest export musically, she’s underrated in her own country.
