Sammy Gyamfi more nepotistic that Akufo-Addo; he’s promoted his friends, classmates over capable communicators in NDC – Nana B

The National Communication Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has been accused of being more nepotistic than the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

The NDC communications head at a press conference chronicled a number of government appointees which he claimed are related either direct or indirect relatives of the sitting President.

He said at the press conference that this number qualifies the President to be the most nepotistic leader in the history of the country.

“After our meticulous investigations into appointments made by President Akufo-Addo since the year 2017, we submit that the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government is the most nepotistic government in the sixty-two-year history of Ghana and we dare say the world”.

“Even Idi Amin Dada – the Butcher of Uganda, Jean-Bedel Bokassa and Mobutu Sese Seko – the looter of Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of Congo) will envy President Akufo-Addo’s unprecedented brand of nepotism and clannism,” he said at the press conference.

Commenting on Sammy Gyamfi claim on Accra-based Okay FM as monitored by Angelfmonlinegh.com, Henry Nana Boakye, the National Youth Organiser of the NDC, accused Sammy Gyamfi of being more nepotistic than President Akufo-Addo.

Nana Boakye claimed that Sammy Gyamfi upon being elected the National Communications Director of the NDC have chosen to elevate his friends and classmates above all other communicators in the party.

Some of these communicators, he said, were brought from their ‘hideouts’ in the regions to Accra and assigned to prominent radio programmes so they can be heard.

According to Nana B, some of these communicators are ‘average’ but were chosen over ‘competent’ ones.

He listed these people as Abass Nurudeen, Eric Adjei, Brogya Genfi and Asafo-Adjei; these people he said have been elevated above more competent and known communicators of the NDC. This situation, he said, has caused many competent hands in the NDC to take a ‘sit-down and watch’ attitude as the NDC continue to sink.
