The Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dennis Kwakwa has compared President Akufo-Addo to Biblical King David for the giant measures he has taken to fight the deadly Coronavirus.
He said the swift compute by the President perfectly equates the wisdom of King Solomon.
” President Akufo-Addo is endowed with King Solomon wisdom and therefore has the nation at heart hence his rapid response to fight COVID-19,” he noted.
Speaking in an interview with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi TV and Radio, Dennis Kwakwa reiterated the government’s commitment to protect Ghanaians in these hard times.
As a reality, he emphasized that government is distributing free meals to over 400,000 Ghanaians in locked-down areas amidst the COVID-19 outbreak in Ghana.
Dennis Kwakwa admitted the hardship the situation has brought on the majority of Ghanaians adding that there was however the need for the provision of “food packages and hot meals” to enable poor households to minimize their vulnerability.
The Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer reminded Ghanaians to avoid social distancing, regular handwashing with soap and staying at home to be safe from the disease.
The national tally of the Coronavirus cases is now 378 and 6 deaths.
