The founder and leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo has hinted that he will beat John Mahama in the upcoming December 7 Presidential election in the Volta Region to end the dominance of the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC).
According to the Presidential Aspirant, despite the two regions formerly known as Volta Region being the strongholds of the opposition NDC, he will continue to support the areas to prove that, the LPG as a political party has genuine commitments to improving the lives of the people there.
Kofi Akpaloo in his view believes his party will legitimately win this year’s elections no matter what happens.
“Definitely, I will win the Volta region .I’m a Voltarian and there’s no way my fellow Voltarians will by-pass me to vote for others from other tribes. This year, I will beat John Mahama hands down in the Volta Region and Oti Region. I will win the elections in the Volta Region and I have already won this year elections”, he told Reynolds Agyemang on Accra base Kingdom FM.
He further revealed his intentions to build the largest Cocoa Processing Factory in Ghana in order to create 2000 jobs for Ghanaians should he be voted as that next President of Ghana in the December elections.
This he said will serve as a driver for the eradication of high unemployment rate among Ghanaian youths.
According to him, this measure will see Ghana as self-sufficient in food production and even become an exporter of food to other countries.
