The Food and Drugs Authority has approved herbal medicine, Nibima for clinical trials and treatment of Covid-19.
A statement issued by the Authority said in search for a treatment for the virus, he School of Public Health at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology submitted a clinical trial application for the herbal medicine in September 2020.
It said trials has shown that they are some clinical benefits from the drug.
