School feeding to be digitized – Minister Designate for Gender hints

The Deputy Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection, Madam Abudu Lariba Zuweira, has said that the ministry is working with the vice president’s office to digitize the school feeding program.

The school feeding program is undoubtedly facing significant challenges. But the minister designate believes the move will assist in solving the numerous problems with the program.

Madam Abudu Lariba made this known during her vetting at the appointment committee of Parliament as the minister designate for Gender, Children, and Social Protection.

“The ministry (Gender, Children, and Social Protection), in collaboration with the Vice President’s office, we’re doing digitization. We’re enrolling all schools on a digital platform, as well as all caterers and beneficiaries. So this alone is going to reduce all the hoodlums. She said.
