Flagbearer hopeful Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has reaffirmed his belief in the unity of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), stressing that true unity must be rooted in fairness.
In a social media post, he argued that the party cannot achieve harmony if some members are allowed to act freely while others are silenced. According to him, the NPP is a great family, and every strong family thrives on respect and justice.
He therefore urged the party to put aside its differences and remain focused on a shared mission — building a prosperous Ghana for future generations.
“That’s the unity I believe in. That’s the way forward,” he emphasised.
His post read, “What does true unity in our party look like? For me, it’s built on one simple, powerful idea: FAIRNESS. It means we can’t have harmony when some are allowed to do as they please while others are told to be quiet. It means that an apology shouldn’t be a sign of weakness, but a mark of strength, for everyone. The New Patriotic Party is a great family, and families thrive on respect and justice. Let’s put aside our differences and focus on our shared mission: building a prosperous Ghana for our children. That’s the unity I believe in. That’s the way forward”.
