Mr. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, one of the five aspirants vying for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer position, has disclosed the amount he spends in each constituency during his campaign tours.
He also reaffirmed his commitment to prioritizing the welfare of delegates and addressing long-standing grievances within the party.
Discussing his campaign strategy, Agyepong revealed that he spends about GHS 30,000 per constituency—far below the amounts reportedly spent by some of his rivals, who are said to commit as much as GHS 400,000.
He noted that although he may not match the financial strength of other aspirants, his emphasis is on delivering genuine results and championing the concerns of delegates rather than depending on money to secure their support.
“Among the five candidates, I believe I am the one Ghanaians will trust most,” he said. “I have personally experienced discrimination within the party, and if entrusted with leadership, I will understand the pain and worries of members and work to improve their welfare.”
Agyepong added: “I present a fresh lease of light for the party and Ghana. I am an achiever; I work hard, and when given power, I will not disappoint. Delegates should vote wisely for the person who can deliver, not just the one with the deepest pockets.”
