‘Aagbe wɔ’ demo hits Accra

A coalition of political parties in the country identified as Inter-Party Coalition on National Sovereignty, under the leadership of the PNC’s Bernard Mornah, took to the streets of Accra Thursday morning in a protest christened ‘Aagbe wɔ’ .

The protest, according to the leadership of the Coalition, is to demonstrate against the violence which ensued during the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election.

Even though there were earlier disagreements between the police and the Coalition over the routes to be used for the demonstration, Bernard Mornah revealed on 3FM‘s Sunrise that they have reached a consensus and that the police have reneged on their earlier stance not to allow them use some routes.
