2 dead in another road crash on Accra-Kumasi highway

At least two persons,a driver and a conductor have been killed in a fatal accd£nt that occurred at Anyinasin junction on the Accra-Kumasi highway.

The accident occurred Saturday dawn around 5.30am when a Cargo Truck carting mining equipment towards Anyinam direction collided head-on with a Tipper Truck transporting Charcoal to the capital, Accra.

According to eyewitnesses, the driver and mate on-board of the Kia Truck were trapp£d dead in their mangled vehicle and had to be extricated by personnel of Fire Service.

He said the driver and other two passengers on-board of the Cargo truck have been rushed to the Hospital.

The accident created a gridlock on the road and the police are at the scene to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
