nformation reaching Sankofa Radio indicates that Ace radio presenter Afia Konadu popularly known Maafia is dead. Morning show host Yaa Konama who confirmed the incident on UTV’s Adekye Nsroma show disclosed that the Ace Presenter died yesterday at about 8:00 PM in the United States.
Maafia, as she is popularly called, worked for 45 years. She started as a teacher and then went to work with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC).
A few years later, she was invited by Dr Osei Kwame Despite to help in running PEACE FM which was then a ‘baby’.
