Black Stars Will Fail If They Attempt To Use Juju in the 2019 AFCON-Opambour Reveals

Founder and Leader of Ebenezer Miracle Worship Centre in Kumasi, Prophet Ebenezer Adarkwa Opambour Yiadom  has added his voice to the use of black magic by some players in the Black Stars team saying the team will fail woefully if they attempt to use juju  ahead of  the 2019 Africa Cup Nations.

The issue of juju in the Black Stars team became a major talking point in Ghana football after the previous coach Goran Stevanovic claimed in his report to the Ghana Football Association that players used black magic against each other during the Nations Cup.

The use of black magic, known as ‘juju’, in the country’s football has been a long-standing debate, becoming a major talking point when former Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic attributed the team’s poor showing at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations to the practice.

The Back Stars will perform abysmally if they attempt to use any form of juju. The country will record will the worse tournament if the players are not careful. I’m telling you. Everybody should be careful, I’m speaking to you as a Prophet of God, if we don’t go to this AFCON with the strength of God, we will be sorry for ourselves.”

Black Stars have won the AFCON trophy four times but has failed to win the AFCON trophy since 1982.

The Black Stars are currently in Abu Dhabi, UAE ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt which is slated to kick off from 21st June and end on 19th July.

The Stars will be based in Ismailia-in which they will play two matches and then drive to Suez for their final group game.

The West African giants have been paired in Group F with African power house Cameroon,Benin and Guinea-Bissau at the tournament this June.
