The Ashanti regional chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has again taken swipe at John Mahama with an accusation that the former President hatched a plot to eliminate him.
According to him, Mahama plotted to kill some NPP bigwigs in the Ashanti region and he was the first target
He indicated that, Daniel Ohene Agyekum, former ambassador to the United States from Ghana was placed in charge of the plot.
Speaking on Wontumi Radio and Tv, the daring NPP politician further revealed that, NDC hold meetings upon meetings in Ashanti region to be precise, Pease in the Bosomtwe area to plan
He stressed that, the contents of the leaked tape by Chairman of NDC, Mr. Ofosu Ampofo in which he made a serious threats that he will kidnap some people and make the country ungovernable should should be taken seriously
On Corruption
The outspoken politician hinted that, he felt disgusted yesterday when a newspaper in London published the Airbus scandal story with a headline ‘Corrupt African President’ and Tagged it with John Mahama.
“John Mahama has disgraced Ghana and Africa at large”- he said
The business mogul continued that, John Mahama has been entangled in corruption to the extent that he eats, sleeps and wake up with corruption
Chairman Wontumi emphasized that, if John Mahama understands Accountability, Probity, and Integrity, he would have stepped down as flagbearer for NDC before he is jailed
