The Ghana Police Service has arrested the lead person in the lynching of Akua Denteh, the 90-year-old woman who was accused of being a witch at Kafaba in the Savanna Region.
The arrest was made by a special team of Police personnel dispatched from Accra.
Report say the culprit, Bumaye, who happens to be a step grand daughter of the deceased was arrested at Kejewu-Bator a village near Yeji in the Pru District after she tried to cross the border.
She has since been transported to Salaga to help in investigations.
