The Greater Accra Regional Chairperson of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Ade Coker has said that his party has lost confidence in the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, JeanAdukwei Mensa.
According to Mr Coker, his party will not relent in its disputes against the EC until its Chairperson, Jean Mensa, steps down.
“The first wrong to correct is for her to resign, and then we can talk because we have lost confidence in her,’’ Mr Coker said.
In an interview with Ade Coker affirmed that Jean Adukwei Mensa must resign for the crass incompetence she has shown.
Mr Coker revealed this after the police arrested 26 of the NDC supporters for allegedly demonstrating, unlawfully, at the headquarters of the EC.
Mr Coker said the EC must resign in order to consider dialogizing over its grievances from the management of the 2020 elections.
