Losing the 2020 general elections coupled with the celebration of Christmas would keep many members of the National Democratic Congress in severe pain, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has said.
Having experienced the same fate in 2008 and 2012 respectively, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party stated on the Wontumi Morning Show that the experience is a bitter one and he knows how it is hurting his colleagues in the NDC.
“When you lose elections during Christmas, you can’t enjoy the season. NDC members are so sad now. NPP experienced the same thing in 2008 and 2012. Elections in December is very hard for the loser, it destroys the mood of people”, the NPP Chairman known as Chairman Wontumi said.
He however advised the leadership of the NDC to accept that they have lost and move on with life.
According to him, any attempt by the top executives of the NDC to stage unnecessary demonstrations would rather compound the trouble they are already facing.
