Member of Parliament for North Tongu Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has expressed shock at the lack of sympathy for people who died during the just-ended elections.
According to him, he expected that the President would have at least express his sympathies to the families that lost their loved ones as a result of the election.

Expressing his disappointment,the Member of Parliament said “Not a word of sympathy from President Akufo-Addo on the barbaric killings of 8 defenceless Ghanaians during the December 7, 2020 elections. Even more depressing is his refusal to institute investigations and sanction the mindless perpetrators. Absolutely disappointing address.
Meanwhile eight Ghanaians lost their lives during the just-ended General elections after security personnel fired at them to ward of the crowd at collations centers in Techiman South, Odododiodo and other parts of the country.
