NDC Suspends Koku Anyidoho

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has suspended its former deputy general secretary Koku Anyidoho.

A statement issued by the party explained that the decision to suspend him was taken at a Functional Executive Meeting of the NDC on January 24, 2021, following two separate petitions filed by some two members of the party.

According to the NDC, the suspended officer has been accused of breaching the party’s disciplinary code its members as contained in the NDC Constitution.

”That with immediate effect, your membership of the NDC be suspended

That the petitions be referred to the Party’s disciplinary Committee for further action. You are therefore by this letter to take note, and notice is hereby given, that your membership of the NDC is suspended pending the hearing and final determination of the petitions against your conduct,” the statement said.
