The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr Bernard Antwi-Boasiako has indicated that for Ghana to develop, the rule must change for the New Patriotic Party to be in power and rule for continuous 50 years.
The NPP Chairman in an interview said categorically that, the nations that have developed have all allowed one political party to stay in power for long to allow them to execute programs that have brought them to their current status.
Chairman Wontumi explained that this same feat can be achieved in Ghana if Ghanaians allow the NPP to hold onto political power for very long by always voting massively for them.
“Currently without the NPP, there is no other political party that has what it takes to make Ghana a better place in terms of governance”, Chairman Wontumi said.
He continued that “all countries that have developed have political parties that have been in power for a very long time. If we want Ghana to progress, then Ghanaians don’t have a choice but rather ensuring that the NPP rule Ghana for the next 50 years”.
