Government will sure justice prevails for murdered 10-year-old boy – Minister

The Central Regional Minister, Mrs. Justina Marigold Assan has assured the family of the 10-year-old boy who was gruesomely murdered by two teenagers that justice will be served.

Madam Marigold Assan, the Central Regional Police Commander, DCOP Habiba Twumasi Sarpong, and the Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of Awutu Senya East, Michael Mensah paid a courtesy visit to the bereaved family on Wednesday, April 7, 2021.

Speaking during the visit, Madam Assan consoled the family of the 10-year-old boy promising to release the carcass to them on Thursday for burial on Friday as Muslim tradition demands.

She indicated that the unfortunate incident is tarnishing the image of Kasoa and pledged the government’s support to the security agencies to end the social vices in the municipality.

She also used the opportunity to advise parents urging them to be extra careful on their children by keeping an eye on their movements noting that the development of teenagers killing children is shocking.
