Akufo-Addo Uses The Smallest Convoy In Ghana’s History – Pius Enam Hadzide

President Akufo-Addo is the only president in Ghana’s history to employ a small convoy, according to former Deputy Information Minister and CEO of Youth Employment Authority (YEA), Pius Enam Hadzide.

In the Wednesday, January 12, 2022, episode of the show, Johnny Hudges, the host of TV3’s Newday program, advised that the president should lower the size of his convoy to save money for the government.

When debating with his panelists a remark made by Hon. Patrick Yaw Boamah, MP for Okaikwei Central, that government spending must be decreased in order to justify the imposition of higher taxes, Johnny Hudges offered the recommendation.

In response to Johnny Hudge’s claims, the NYA chairman claimed that the president travels in the smallest convoy in Ghana’s history.

He explained that the president’s convoy looks to be long because more dignitaries join the convoy anytime he [the president] is on the move.

“The president’s Convoy isn’t going to be lengthy.” His Convoy is the shortest in our history; he stated.
