Renowned broadcaster Big Shaq found dead in his room after AFCON finals

A popular radio presenter in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, Kelvin Agyeman, known professionally as Big Shaq is dead.

The renowned late afternoon show presenter was found dead in his room Sunday night, February 6, 2022. The source said while watching the AFCON final, Big Shaq went into sleep and never woke up alive.

His death appears to have come as a shock one to his loved ones and the entire media fraternity in Kumasi as tributes have started pouring in on social media platforms for the late broadcaster.

Big Shaq served in various areas as a broadcaster but he was best known and recognized for his masterful skills in late afternoon show presentations (Drive Time).

Some of the radio stations Big Shaq worked with in his career include Kesewaa Radio, Nkosuo Radio, Radio Mercury, Otec FM, Fox FM, Boss FM, Metro FM amongst others.

Until his shocking demise, he was the host of the Drive Time show on Abusua FM owned by the Excellence in Broadcasting (EIB) Network.
