All is set for a family friendly celebration of African unity and culture at the Josept Hensley Park. For the past 10 years, Sankofa Radio, the longest serving online media for Afro-Ghanaians in the diaspora has put on this widely popular summer event in Alexandria. This year’s event is in collaboration with Don’s music production hat organizes the prestigious Ghana Music Awards-USA scheme.
Over the years, the festival has grown to include more than 15 exhibitors, including arts and crafts, retailers of African wares, youth groups, health fair, fashion show and great food vendors.
