I’m for Bawumia – KMA Boss finally makes stance clear

Mayor for the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, (KMA) Samuel Pyne has made his full endorsement for Dr Bawumia in his bid to contest for the flagbearership position on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party.

The governing NPP has set November 4, 2023, as the date for its presidential and Parliamentary primaries to elect its flagbearer to lead the party in the 2024 general elections.

However, it appears that MPs are being forced to either join Dr Bawumia’s camp or Alan Kyerematen’s camp which has become very difficult for some of them to also follow suit.

Speaking on Oyerepa Breakfast Show, on Monday hosted by Nana Yaw Mensah Joel, the KMA boss made his stance clear on the “Alan Bawumia camp” brouhaha, stating that he is always for Dr Bawumia.

He noted that he has had so much love for Dr Bawumia since 2012 and it has never been because he is contesting for the Presidency today.

“Everyone knows I’m for Bawumia and I support him …… I’ve liked him since 2012 ” he stated.
