Sensation Ghanaian lyricist, Amerado, who burst into the music scene with top dollar bars on wax has indicated that he doesn’t prioritize an 02 Arena performance in this moment in his music career.
Nigerian Afrobeat sensation, Asake, had a mega show at the 02 Arena in the UK few days ago and it has sent a shockwave in Africa’s entertainment space. In Ghana, Asake’s show has birthed fiery argument between music fans and some major artists in the industry compelling them to achieve such a feat.
Shatta Wale, a major artist in the country delved into the discussion and angrily took a swipe at the stakeholders in the industry
Asake’s performance at the 02 Arena was was a topic of discussion at United Showbiz on UTV. Amerado a guest on the TV program last Saturday, August 26, gave his two cents on the issue.
According to Amerado, he has watched Asake’s performance at the 02 several times and heaped praises on the singer. Amerado also indicated that Ghanaians often criticize their artists frequently always pitching one against the other which is not helpful to the music industry.
Continuing his submission, Amerado revealed he’d love to fill the 02 Arena someday but it isn’t a need for him at the moment. According to him, he even struggles to headline shows in Ghana let alone focusing his resources to sell out a 20,000 capacity 02 Arena.
