The Black Stars head coach search committee has announced that they won’t be accepting any more applications for the role after Friday, February 2, 2024.
The Mark Addo-led 5-man committee was tasked with the responsibility of finding the next coach for the Black Stars, barely 24 hours after the sacking of Chris Hughton.
Chris Hughton was sacked as the Black Stars coach by the Ghana Football Association after leading Ghana to another disastrous African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
“The committee tasked with searching for a new Black Stars head coach has set Friday, February 2, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. as the final deadline for the submission of applications for the job.”
“The Committee was also mandated to target suitable and competent coaches for consideration even if they don’t apply for the post,” a statement from the GFA sighted by Rainbow Radio read.
