President John Mahama inspected the abandoned Takoradi Market Circle project and assured the market women, traders, and people of the western region that he would complete it.
After the contractor took him on tour, the President announced that he would meet the Finance minister and the contractor on Friday to discuss the project’s financing.
The visit to the Takoradi market Circle was part of the president’s ‘Thank You Vist’ to the region. Later, at the Sekondi Methodist Park, President Mahama thanked Nananom and the people for their votes in the December elections. He described the western region as a land of immense promise, rich history, and extraordinary potential.
“I’m here with a deep sense of humility and gratitude to say a sincere thank you for the overwhelming support you showed me during the last election.”
He added, “Your trust and belief in our vision for resetting and renewing our country, Ghana, have brought us this far.”
President Mahama pledged to serve with dedication and commitment, working tirelessly to ensure that Ghana develops.
