Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has announced that the government will soon scrap the COVID-19 levy, fulfilling its promise to remove four major taxes.
Speaking to Ghanaians in Benin, he revealed that the betting tax, E-Levy, and emissions tax have already been scrapped after the president signed the bills into law on April 2.
His announcement was met with cheers, as he reassured the diaspora community that the Mahama administration remains committed to delivering on its promises.
