Highlife icon Ofori Amponsah has responded to critics questioning his decision to return to secular music in 2015. Speaking in an exclusive interview on Sankofa Radio with Queen AJ Hipsy, ahead of his performance at SANIA 2025, Amponsah stressed that he is still doing God’s work through music.
He argued that music remains one of the most powerful tools to uplift, inspire, and transform lives, making his return to the stage part of his divine calling rather than a contradiction of it.
