We don’t know Akuapem Polo – Chief denies her

SHE is one of the controversial entertainers in the country and social media celebrity, Rosemond Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo does not appear ready to pull the brakes on her stunts.

Last Thursday was Valentine’s Day and once again, the actress was up to her attention grabbing antics again when she posted raunchy pictures on her Instagram page to celebrate the occasion.

The pictures were widely condemned and for the Apesemakahene of Mampong Akuapem, Nana Yirenkyi I, it is disrespectful for Akuapem Poloo to denigrate the respected image of Akuapems with her behaviour.

A report by Peacefmonline.com said Nana Yirenkyi warned her to desist from using the name, “Akuapem” if she continues in her ‘nude and dirty’ lifestyle.

According to Nana Yirenkyi I, Akuapem Poloo is not a native of Okuapeman and asked her to turn over a new leaf if she wanted to maintain it.

He stated that she is a disgrace to herself, family and the society, and will therefore not allow her to destroy the image of Okuapeman.

“Everyone knows how we Akuapems are. We are decent and for her to call herself ‘Akuapem Poloo’ to be living such a life is a total disaster and bad for our young ones to emulate. We want people who will be role models for our youth but not those who will go naked in public,” he stressed.

“This is her last warning. We don’t know her to hail from here. Which part of Akuapem is she from?,” he questioned, threatening to resort to legal action against her if she continues in her ‘dirty’ lifestyle and drags the name of Akuapems into disrepute.

Rosemond Brown shot to fame following the controversial dress she wore to the 2018 VGMAs and since then, the petite lady has been involved in many scandals.
