A Fulani man in Damongo known as Alhaji Bature has been kidnapped between Achulokura and Cloth, near Damongo at a galamsey site in the Bole District.
Alhaji Bature was kidnapped alongside some individuals within the Damongo area who were released later with their monies and motorbikes taken from them.
The kidnappers spoke the Fulani language and used Alhaji Bature’s phone to call every contact found in his phone demanding sums of money before his release.
Alhaji Bature is known to be among those with large numbers of h erd of cattle in the Damongo area.
