The Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCO) has assured the generality of the Ghanaian people that they have resolved the challenges that caused the power outages in some parts of the country.
A statement issued by the company and signed by Albert Kwesi Quainoo, the Head of Public Relations apologized for the outages which have gotten most Ghanaians frustrated and asking if the country is headed back to the era of dumsor.
According to the company, all transmissions were restored by 19.12 hours, but took some time for some thermal generating units to restart, resulting in the long outage.
