The American rapper who had a show in Ghana following a trip to Nigeria was met with an unwanted trend about a ‘meet and greet’.
Some Ghanaian celebrities took to social media to claim they had been made to wait in vain for Cardi B who was supposed to have lunch with them.
Videos started going round with some angry celebrities hitting hard at the Grammy-award winning musician.
Cardi B in a very vocal video has hit out at people ‘talking s**t’ about her saying instead of acting so stosh before going on social media to rant, why didn’t they say hit to her when they saw her at the pool.
“Let me tell you what I don’t like,” Cardi B said in her rant.
“I saw a couple of females that are supposed to be artiste from here. I didn’t know that.
“When I was around the pool around 3 pm which was the time supposed to be the ‘meet and greet’, the same girls that are talking s*** about me saw me around the pool. “So if you saw me and I was chilling, instead of acting so stosh and staring at me like I had s*** on my eyes, why didn’t you come to say hi, welcome to Ghana, this and that.
“Do you know there’s a ‘meet and greet’ going on? So, I could be aware.
“I am a person that gets paid to do their job and I do my work. On top of that, I like my fans.”
The American rapper did the ‘meet and greet’ with the few that were left at her hotel before heading out to perform in Ghana colours.
