Hearts vs Kotoko clash in London postponed

Information reaching sankofaradio.com is that the much anticipated clash between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak has been re-scheduled.

The Super Clash which was the first of its kind outside the country was expected to take place on March 7, 2020 in London.

But organisers announced that they have postponed the much anticipated titanic clash due to heady downpour in London which has led to the flooding of Bernet Park, the venue for the match.

A statement issued by the GFA read as follows:

“Torrential downpour in the last few days have affected the Barnet pitch, necessitating the postponement of the matches of the National League club, Barnet, and this has affected the scheduled Hearts-Kotoko match at the same venue.”

The organizers HRH Sports Consult and ProBall International, in consultation with Ghana FA and the two clubs have moved it to the weekend of the Easter holidays.
