The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako has stated that John Mahama’s lack of shame to speak on national issues, including accountability triggers anger.
According to him, former President Mahama’s penchant for power has left him in a dreamland which tickles him to speak with disqualification that leads to annoyance.
” Mahama has no moral right to speak on national issues let alone talk about accountability. It’s a shame for him and anytime he does that it angers Ghanaians, ” Chairman Wontumi was speaking with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Kumasi based Wontumi Radio and TV.
Mr Antwi Boasiako emphasized that anytime Mahama speaks, it only betrays him as somebody with no sense of shame, and he thinks he can continue to take Ghanaians for a ride.
” Mahama’s era was full of corruption and he has the guts to talk about accountability. What is stopping him to react to the airbus and other scandals that happened right under his nose, ” Chairman Wontumi asked.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP fumed that Mahama is better off not talking about issues of corruption in the country because he is an embodiment of corruption.
