Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has disclosed that he was the brain behind the arrest of the founder and leader of International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim.
According to the controversial member of parliament, Kennedy Agyapong speaking on Net 2 television on a show dubbed ‘The Hot Seat’, Mr Agyapong unvield that Obinim cannot afford the GH₵ 10,000 bail and that’s the reason he is still behind bars.
Kennedy Agyapong went on and stated that Obinim claims to be the richest pastor in Ghana but can’t afford to pay for his bail.
According to a statement issued by the police, Bishop Daniel Obinim has been charged with the offences of Publication of false news and Forgery of documents contrary to sections 208 and 159 0f the criminal and other offences Act, 1960 (ACT 29) respectively.
