Robbers Break Into EC Office

Thieves have been busted for broken into Electoral Commission (EC) office at Kodie in the Affigya Kwabre South Constituency in the Ashanti Region.

They are said to have made away some gadgets which have vital information.

The robbers are reported to have made away two laptops having information of the EC.

The robbery occurred on Friday June 6, and is unknown if the incident is related to partisan politics or not.

The suspects who are in the police grips reported includes as Eric Oteng Asamoah, 29 and Samuel Nti, 18.

According to the reports available, the thieves broke into the office around 7:00pm through the EC back door and went to the ICT centre for the items.

Few hours after the robbery a stuff called Alexander Eshun lodged a complaint.

The complainant led the police to the office for assessment which led to investigation to effect the apprehension of the suspects.
