The Communications Minister Madam Ursula Owusu has commended chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), Mrs. Jean Mensa for organizing what she has termed as the best voter registration exercise in Ghana’s history.
In a Facebook post, the Minister said prosperity will judge the EC boss for the work done.
She opined it was commendable that the EC transparently shard the data they gathered with Ghanaians on a daily basis.
She then took a swipe at civil society organisations, political parties, and other individuals who resisted the exercise.
“Where are the naysaying, doom mongering academics, ‘neutrals’ and CSOs? What happened to the expert models which predicted our collective death from Covid if the registration exercise went on??? Can we hear from them now please?”

Where are the naysaying, doom mongering academics, ‘neutrals’ and CSOs? What happened to the expert models which predicted our collective death from Covid if the registration exercise went on??? Can we hear from them now please? Will they be modest enough to admit that they MAY have got it wrong?? For some of them who shall remain nameless, they are goofing too much lately and might want to hesitate a bit before sharing their ‘expert’ opinions on matters they know very little about.
