Two teenagers have been arrested by Police in Kasoa for murdering a 10-year-old boy for ritual money to get rich quickly.
The suspects -18 and 19-year-olds allegedly killed the victim at Lamptey, a suburb of Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
The suspects revealed to police after their arrest that, a fetish priest in the volta region directed them to bring body parts for ritual money that would make them rich.
“The ten-year-old boy was studying and the two suspects lured him to come out and play with them. He obliged not knowing they had another plan. An evil plans. They killed him, cut off his ear for money rituals. This is not a movie. This happened in Kasoa this Easter Saturday. A father of one of the boys saw them wrap the dead body in a cloth and quickly called the police on them” a resident narrated.
The incident has shocked residents of the area calling for detailed investigation and swift justice.
