Pastor who predicted Shatta Wale’s death arrested

Jesus Ahuofe, an Accra-based pastor who predicted the murder of musician Shatta Wale has been picked up by personnel of the Ghana Police Service.

Jesus Ahoufe had stated in an interview on Accra FM in September 2021, that the dancehall artist will be killed in a gun attack on October 18, 2021, if he does not seek spiritual intervention.

The pastor stated that Shatta Wale will die as a result of the attack if the ‘prophesy’ is taken lightly.

Kwame Appiah-Kubi, Host of Accra FM morning show, told Citi FM that the preacher was picked up at the premises of the media company where he was scheduled to attend an interview.

Mr. Appiah-Kubi said the police informed personnel of Class Media Group that no family member of the singer has made an official complaint to the Accra Regional Command.

Meanwhile the Director of Public Affairs at the Ghana Police Service, Supt. Alexander Obeng, has urged members of the public to volunteer information about the whereabouts of Shatta Wale.
