Popular Ghanaian Highlife Legend, Rex Omar has publicly revealed his intentions to sue veteran musician, Akosua Agyapong, for consistently labeling him a thief.
According to Rex Omar, who happens to be the Chairperson of Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO), Akosua Agyapong has been accusing him for the past five years in line with theft related issues.
Speaking in a recent interview with Amansan Krakye, the veteran highlife musician said Akosua Agyapong must prove to him in court the false allegations she has constantly leveled against him with indications he has stolen money belonging to GHAMRO.
He disclosed that before he travelled recently, he gave his lawyers the greenlight to serve the female musician and dancer with a letter to respond within the next 14 days adding that, if she’s unable to prove her accusations against him for stealing from GHAMRO he will sue her.
He further stated that, the 14-day ultimatum he gave her has elapsed so he will go ahead and fulfill his promise by taking her to court for defamation, so that she can prove to Ghanaians where he stole money belonging to GHAMRO.
