Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East Phyllis Naa Koryoo Okunnor has declared that President John Dramani has outperformed in the first few months of his government.
It is her assertion that the President’s appointments and activities within this short period are commendable.
Phyllis Naa Koryoo Okunnor said as someone who had been president before, he has demonstrated that he has learnt his lessons and is committed to resolving the economic crisis that the previous government pushed us into.
The MP made the remarks on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, urging Ghanaians to trust Mahama’s leadership because he will keep his promises.
‘’President Mahama’s performance: so far, so good. His appointments are solid. I am more than satisfied with his performance. As someone with experience, he will deliver. He’s been there before. He made certain mistakes in the past and is here to correct the wrongs he did during his campaign. Talking about the correction of these mistakes, he has overperformed within these three months in office.
When compared to the previous government’s eight years, Mahama’s three months in office have outperformed Nana Addo’s eight. It’s not comparable. It’s like comparing apples and oranges.”
She insisted that ”the appointees of President Mahama are so deserving of their positions”, adding that ”Ghanaians will soon appreciate the quality of work by President Mahama and the vision to transform the country”.
