Mrs. Christiana Agyapong, wife of NPP flagbearer hopeful Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, has reiterated her commitment to championing the welfare and recognition of women in the New Patriotic Party, describing them as the “backbone” of the party’s enduring strength.
Speaking during a grassroots engagement in the Suame Constituency as part of her ongoing tour with her husband, Mrs. Agyapong used the opportunity to highlight the often underappreciated role women play in party organization, mobilization, and electoral victories.
“Women are the backbone of our party’s strength, and it is important we stand by them not only during campaigns but at all times, especially when they face challenges,” she stated.
Her remarks came after she visited Madam Yaa Abrafi, a longtime Women’s Organizer at the Emmanuel Baptist Church Polling Station, who is currently bedridden.
