3 police officers arrested for stealing suspect’s phones and money

Three Policemen and another have been captured for taking 20 cell phones and a HP PC esteemed at GH¢60,000.00 and money of GH¢8000.00 individually.

As per police agents who affirmed the occurrence to MyNewsGh.com, a complainant had detailed that his shop in Ahinsan a suburb of Kumasi was broken into with twenty (20) cell phones of different brands one HP PC all esteemed GH¢60,000.00 and GH¢8000.00 taken.

The Police after the report visited the scene and did a remaking.

Upon insight picked by the police, suspect Losoya Bayor was captured at Moshie Zongo and upon a pursuit at his home, three (3) cell phones and three (3) tablet telephones accepted to be important for the things taken were recovered.

Upon additional cross-examination, Losoya Bayor unveiled that when he took the things and was returning home he met a Police Patrol vehicle from Manhyia.

The three Policemen on board captured him and took eight of the telephones and the cash which he took from the complainant’s shop.

Upon examinations, the three cops were recognized as Charles Antwi, Prince Owusu and Timothy Azure who are altogether officials at ‘B’ District, Manhyia.

Upon a hunt at their living arrangement, eight grouped iPhones and GH¢3000.00 were recovered from them which were held as a display.
