Veteran radio personality and news reporter, Mr. James Kofi Annan, popularly known as Secretary General, has officially joined one of the fast-rising broadcasting company in the Western and Central Region, Sankofa Radio 98.9.
Kofi Annan is currently the host of the community-based problem-solving program, Ohia Ma Adwendwen which takes off every Wednesday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm GMT and Sankofa, a program which dives into the past and aborted traditions and cultures of the land, airing every Sunday from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm GMT, with both programs presented in the local dialect (Fante).
With over 10 years working experience as a news reader, a reporter, a radio presenter and a news correspondent in popular stations like Adom fm (Accra), Asempa fm (Accra) and Good News fm (Takoradi), Kofi Annan is set to soothe the ears of the general public with quality, educative and mind-blowing contents with a touch of hilarious comments and humor on the waves of Sankofa Radio 98.9.
All programs will be aired on Sankofa Radio 98.9’s sister station in Virginia, Sankofa Radio, and will also be available on TuneIn and www.sankofaradio.com for Ghanaians in the diaspora.
